Optometric Assistants |

Gerri, Rachael, Barb, Jody, Shelly and Cindy are the chairside assistants
for our doctors. As such they play an important role
in performing preliminary testing, recording findings
and coordinating patient care.

Frame and Lens Consultants |
|

Our frame stylists are responsible for helping you find
just the right frame, as well as helping you make the
best lens and lens option choices. Kathy is in charge
of this area and also serves as our primary frame buyer.

Our optical staff is responsible for placement of orders, checking jobs for accuracy, the final dispensing to patients and all repairs and adjustments that may be needed. Dawn,
Amanda and Lisa are New York State Licensed Opticians.

Accounts Receivable/Insurance Billing |

Sue, Judy, and Sandy are responsible for patient accounts,
insurance billing and receipts. In the era of insurance
and managed care their jobs have become increasingly
complex. If you have a billing or insurance question
they can be of great help in solving the problem. Please
give them a smile occasionally as they often have a
thankless job!

Both Colleen, who is also a NYS Licensed Optician, and Nancy also administer many of our high tech specialty tests to include computerized visual fields, Corneal Topography, the Heidelberg Retinal Tomograph (HRT) and the Optical Coherence Tomograph (OCT).

Sandy, Baldur |

Lab Technicians |

Sandy is a New York State Licensed Optician and works in almost all areas of our optical department. She is a mainstay in making sure orders are placed and checked in and verified in a timely manner and also spends considerable time repairing and adjusting eyewear for our patients.
Baldur works part time and is our finishing lab technician who edges the lenses to properly fit the frame.
